In 1981 Overgate Hospice was established for the people of Calderdale providing specialist care. It costs approximately £8,500 a day to run Overgate and £3.1 million a year. Sadly, only 20% of this is funded by the Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group, with the rest coming from traditional fundraising activities by the general public. “Because you care, we can.”

How Much Does It Cost?

The Overgate Hospice asks that you pay a deposit of £49 and raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship. This covers the cost of the skydive and a minimum donation to the charity.
