Hibbleween 2016

Date posted:

Every year since the year dot, we have held our infamous Hibbleween competition. Over the years, it has changed a lot and been called many things from the Frostbite Friendly, to 10-way Speed, 8-way Speed and now Hibbleween amongst other names. This year, the comp had metamorphosised into a 4-way scrambles competition and 8 teams entered!

However, the weather was not on our side and only 6 teams managed to complete their round 1, before the clouds rolled in. And if you thought the name Frostbite Friendly might have been appropriate, you would be wrong. Many of us were walking around in t-shirts, in October! But that didn't dampen the atmosphere (pardon the pun) and we then went on to have a fantastic fancy-dress Halloween party.

So here are the top 3 placings:

  • L Garden (Ane Brentford) - 10 points
  • Pumpkins (Catherine Leather) - 8 points
  • I've Got Nothing (Sam Cavendish) - 7 points

Outfit of the year goes to Chris Southworth whose simple, but highly amusing outfit was both simultaneously disturbing and in-keeping with Hibbleween antics. We can't post any photos of him yet, but this might help you get a picture -
